Re: Jungle Republic - Game Over
I'm not bitter or anything I play to win but I accept that I fucked up pretty badly with regards to my inactivity.
It's a good learning experience. You have to make time to play these games, otherwise you just make it hard for yourself.

Re: Jungle Republic - Game Over
I'm still really undecided. april's been far more scummy, but I have trouble buying Emma voting her to L-1 as something a teammate does.

...going to count that since it was only a minute after, and I wasn't yet here when the vote occurred. Deadline is when I lock. I'll take the blame here for my inability to refresh the thread constantly enough.

DAY 7 DEADLINE
April Rhodes (1) - Dave Karofsky (L-2)
Dave Karofsky (2) - April Rhodes, Sunshine Corazon (L-1)
Sunshine Corazon (0) -
Mercedes Jones (0) -
4 people are playing. 3 votes are required to lynch a player.
Because this setup is nightless, if no player reaches 3 votes before the deadline, plurality will apply and the player with the most votes on them will be lynched.
In the event of a tie between players, whoever received the most votes first (measured starting with the last time they were affected by a vote or unvote) will be lynched.
Dave Karofsky (2) - April Rhodes, Sunshine Corazon (L-1)

Re: Jungle Republic - Game Over
I'm actually legitimately so pissed right now it's not even funny. Not only did we mislynch (I thought we were sure to hit scum that time...) I'm going to be lynched because I'm the second option. which really is a raw fuckin deal. so yeah, sorry, I probably could've made this easier for everyone.
there's too much emotion in me right now. I am going to sleep, come back tomorrow, and read through this game once more. I'm going to focus on this damn game and get this last one right

Re: Jungle Republic - Game Over
To clarify, I was undecided, but also my vote wouldn't have done anything, since April was getting lynched by plurality no matter what (Until that last minute change by Sunshine). I previously felt it might be Dave or April, and I still think so, but Sunshine, I hope you have at least a bit of reasoning beyond gut for lynching Dave.

Re: Jungle Republic - Game Over
Sorry guys, but I can't just sit back and watch this go on.
Sunshine's vote didn't count; it was late, even if only by a minute. A deadline is a deadline, regardless of whether or not the moderator was online. This is precedent that's been set by previous mafia games, and it's the policy for all future games in this tournament.
Also note that the original deadline was set for 48 hours ago. There was already an extension, so the argument of "not enough time" is not applicable here.
I will post the (modified) lynch results myself in the next post.

Thoughts: clusterfuck, god. I'm sleeping now so official alias reveals will be up tomorrow morning.
Could you guys wait just like 8 hours for the official reveals? Please please please I'm exhausted and I want to clear my mind.
There will be commentary on the reveals don't you worry.
Ian (no, it's not me) will decide MVP later g'night
EDIT: Also HD will do final point tallies later if not lazy. be less lazy everyone i think inactivity was the real winner of this tourney

Re: Jungle Republic - Game Over
Yeah ok
Wow that was absolute poo by me
I'm going to explain my thought process, and you know you can believe me or not;
Anyway I thought that dave telling me he was the guest meant he was town (on the previous page) so I was like OK cool. And then april said stuff that was actually nice (like it makes sense why you were so hard on blaine now April). So I was kinda sad about lynching either of you kids.
I decided to do nothing. Hence the 'K' in 3:59
But then eventually I saw it was past 4 (deadline - my time) and I just got jumpy as crap. And I thought "if April is town I feel so bad for lynching her" so just switched. I mean [and I guess for dave and dave only (don't really care about other people in this regard - oh and April a bit as well) it matters that you believe me here] I would never of changed if it wasn't past deadline. Just a bit hysterical.
Yeah I feel bad, but again I think I never would have changed if it wasn't past deadline, which is not seb's/hosts fault or anything. I think ultimately it was because april's play got heaps better as the game went on and I wasn't active enough for the beginning which just made me go to a snap decision in an odd situation.
g...g... I guess. I actually had a lot of fun d2 onwards. Some props; Mike claiming was pretty good, I think emma played well overall. But mercedes (at least from the point she started jumping on emma) played super well. Forever town
Sorry for the controversy I caused by switching randomly
I do indeed feel bad about it. Post deadline, it was just immature.
Sorry again, and bye

Re: Jungle Republic - Game Over
Thank God it is finally over. I knew both were Mafia and at some point of the game it was beyond obvious that they were the scum pair. The lynch on Kurt was pretty dumb as well.
Sunshine Corazon's inactivity played a big part in prolonging this game much longer than intended.
It sucks that I had to get lynched. I had it pieced up together already! Well, I guess I can't really shift the blame on the inactive players who just follow the bandwagons.
GG.
